Occupational Health & Safety Consulting
Services related to compliance with STPS regulations
At IIHM Consultores, we have extensive experience assisting and advising companies on occupational safety and hygiene. Our range of services is broad, and the best way to determine what we can do for your company is through a diagnostic evaluation. This evaluation determines the level of compliance with the Mexican Official Standards (NOM) issued by the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) in matters of occupational safety and hygiene.
Our consulting services for compliance with STPS official safety and hygiene standards include:
- Safety and Hygiene Diagnostics: Evaluation of compliance with the Mexican Official Standards (NOM) issued by STPS. This service identifies omissions or areas of opportunity and establishes the foundation for a comprehensive work plan.
- Safe Company Certification: Guidance for entry and maintenance in the STPS Self-Management Program.
- Development and Preparation of Safety Policies: Including the creation of safety and hygiene manuals and procedures.
- Development and Implementation of Safety and Hygiene Programs and Related Training Programs: For establishment during pre-startup, startup, and normal operation of your company to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and prevent risks and costs.
- Guidance and Response to Inspection Visits: Advice, guidance, and response to inspection and verification visits, whether routine, extraordinary, or special, by federal, state, and/or municipal authorities on workplace safety and hygiene.
- Establishment of Joint Safety and Hygiene Commission: Preparation of the integration act, verification act, and training in the operation of the joint commission.

This allows for proper risk management and optimization of pre-startup design, startup, detailed engineering, accident investigation, equipment shutdown or dismantling, development of safety procedures and/or administrative controls, as well as comprehensive protection levels.
- Specialized Workplace Environment Studies (Laboratory Analysis): Preparation and/or documentation of specialized studies required as part of compliance with altered, abnormal, special, or hazardous workplace environments. These studies are part of a worker health protection program and are important for identifying and preventing health risks.
- Fire Risk Assessment.
